Philately and Rowing: a long story
 The philatelic exhibition opens at 1.00 p.m. on Friday 8th December and close at 6.00 p.m on Sunday 10th December. It is made by a beatiful collection of stamps on the rowing sport coming from a private collection that gather stamps from all over the world. The exhibition done by Ferruccio Calegari, a journalist that loves rowing and what is around it.
Special postmark and commemorative postcard
 During the regatta day, on 9th December, starting from 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. a special postal desk will be open in the S.C. Pallanza boat house where the special postmark and a dedicated postcard will be available.
Pallanza's Painters
 The second exhibition, great news, is a paintings show by some neighbourhood painters as Agostino Cappellaro and Angelo Petoletti. They will show, starting from 1.00 p.m. on 8th December in the S.C. Pallanza boat house, their works under the title "Pallanza's Painters". Leading artist of the exhibition is Agostino Cappellaro, Maestro painter and "Accademico del Santo Sepolcro", who lives and paints in Verbania Pallanza. Other than Cappellaro's paintings also some work by Angelo Petoletti, artist from Verbania and former President of S.C. Pallanza will be shown.
The Olympic Flame
During the exhibitions it will be possible to see the original Olympic Flame of the Turin 2006 Winter Olympics, thanks to Lazzaro Pastini, torchbearer number 6 of the Verbania Olympic day and Italian National Champion on a 4+ in 1960 dressing the colors of S.C. Pallanza.
