1 - INVITATION
With the support of the Piedmont Region, the Verbano Cusio Ossola Province, the town of Verbania, the Fondazione Comunitaria del VCO, the Italian Centenarian Sport Club National Association, the Italian Rowing Federation announces, and the Pallanza Rowing Club organizes the 3rd Centenarian Rowing Club Meeting; an international and promotional regatta reserved to Italian and foreign Rowing Clubs founded before 1907.
The organizing committee has the faculty to admit to the race as guests other Rowing Clubs that, despite they are missing the above requisite, had applied for that.

2 - REGATTA COURSE
Lake Maggiore (Piedmont - Italy), in front of Pallanza's lakeside on the distance of 500 meters, straight on 4 (four) lanes. Flying start.
A detailed map of the course will be available at accreditation time.

3 - SCHEDULE
The regatta takes place on Saturday 9th December 2006, starting at 10.00 a.m. Starts will be spaced 12 minutes following the order available in the Schedule section.
The scheduled races are not valid for the Italian National Ranking.
If more than four crews will be registered in the same race, the race will be split in sub-races of four crews and a final ranking will be done using each crew's time.

4 - PARTECIPATION LIMITS
Male and female athletes of the admitted age categories (Schedule section) are allowed to participate if regularly registered with their National Rowing Federation.
Each athlete shall take part to a maximum of two races without any regard to category.
Single Canoe race is reserved to Rowing Clubs' Presidents and has a differentiation based on their age: Under 50 and Over 50.
Guest Rowing Clubs missing the seniority requisite will not appear in the final ranking.
The regatta may have rowing exhibitions or other complementary races not listed in Schedule section that however will not count for the final ranking.

5 - MIXED CREWS
Registration of mixed crews is allowed.

6 - RACES CANCELLATION AND SCHEDULE CHANGE
Races with no registration will be cancelled.
Races with only one registration will regularly take place: the unique registered crew will race with the most similar category and the relative score is counted in the final ranking.

7 - ID CERTIFICATION
Italian athletes must have:
- Valid Id document
- "yellow card" for underage athletes.
Foreign athletes must have:
- valid Id document
- valid membership to their National Rowing Federation.

8 - ENTRIES, WITHDRAWALS, CREW CHANGES
Closure of the registration period expires at 12.00 p.m. on Tuesday 28th November 2006.
Registration form, available in Registration section, must be sent to Societą Canottieri Pallanza A.S.D. by fax (+39 0323 502394) or by e-mail to segreteria@canottieripallanza.it.
A copy of the registration form must be sent also to Italian Rowing Federation by fax (+39 06 36858148) to verify national membership.
Crew withdrawals and changes must be done to Societą Canottieri Pallanza A.S.D., by fax or e-mail, within 12,00 p.m. on Monday 4th December 2006.
After that deadline and before the regatta accreditation, withdrawals will not be considered and the responsible Rowing Club will receive a fine of 25,00 Euros for each withdrawn athlete as prescribed by comma 20.d of the Italian National Rowing Codebook, exception made for certified illness or accident of an athlete of the crew.

9 - REGISTRATION FEE
Registration fee is fixed in 10,00 Euros for each athlete for each race, coxswain included. Registration fees must be paid at accreditation time and include:
- regatta inscription
- t-shirt of the regatta and/or memory medal
- free of charge racing boats (please refer to comma 13)
- logistics during the regatta day
- safety services during the regatta

10 - REGATTA DRAWS
The Regatta Committee Meeting will meet on Tuesday 5th December 2006 at 9.00 p.m. in the Societą Canottieri Pallanza A.S.D. venue (ph./fax +39 0323 502394, e-mail segreteria@canottieripallanza.it) to verify registration forms, to split races with more that four registered crews and to draw lane numbers and boats.

11 - ACCREDITATION AND REGATTA MEETING
Accreditation to the regatta will be available to Rowing Clubs' Team managers from 8.00 a.m. to 9.00 a.m. on Saturday 9th December 2006 at the regatta course where a Marshall and an Organizing Committee member will provide to the confirmation of each registration, take note of any crew change and check ID of the athletes.
A Regatta briefing is not scheduled but it can be called in every moment during the regatta's day on request of the Chief Marshall.
The Chief Marshall may be reached at the venue of Societą Canottieri Pallanza A.S.D., ph./fax +39 0323 502394, near the regatta course.

12 - PRIZES
As described in Prizes section.

13 - BOATS
Boats must comply to the requisites stated in the Italian National Rowing Codebook. Boats will be available at the regatta course free of charge to any Rowing Club that has applied for that using the registration form. Boats will be assigned to crew by a drawing as lane numbers.
Crews that aim to participate to the regatta with their own boats are free to do that.
To facilitate logistics of the regatta please apply for boats using the registration form.

14 - UNIFORM
The uniform must be the same for each member of the same crew.

15 - SAFETY SERVICES
Safety and rescue services will start 30 minutes before the first race and end 30 minutes after the last race.

16 - TIMING and COMMUNICATIONS
Timing for each race will be provided by the Italian Timing Federation.
Communications and logistics for the regatta will be provided by the Organizing Committee.

17 - FINAL DISPOSAL
