The Italian Rowing Federation has recently approved regatta rules for 3rd Centenarian Rowing Clubs Meeting: the program of the event is now official; races are scheduled on 9th December 2006 on a regatta course on Lake Maggiore, in front of Verbania Pallanza.

Società Canottieri Pallanza, the Organizing Committee, has scheduled races starting at 10.00 a.m. with Jole 4+ male open (J - LW - S), than Jole 4+ Master male and female, following with Single Canoe for Rowing Clubs' Presidents, 4x open (J - LW - S) male and female, 4x master male and female, ending with 2x open (J - LW - S) female.

All the races will be contested on a regatta course of 500 meters with flying starts. First prize, reserved to the winning Centenarian Rowing Club is particularly notable: it is a check valid to buy a convertible boat 4x/4- model Pro Racer Silver Rowing complete with both sculling and sweep rigger kits, offered by Silver Rowing, boat builder from Naples: a great value boat, one more motivation to be present the event that is mostly a moment to celebrate the rowing sport and all that clubs that have created to story of that incredible sport. In the meantime side event activities are under analysis. They will contribute to give more interest to the event itself.
